You know something is a trend in Japan when...

even 宇部 (Ube) has it's very own maid cafe...
Yeah, I know, the picture doesn't tell you much but I didn't have the money at the time to go in and they probably wouldn't want me taking pictures inside there anyway.
But, hey! This guy has! The scrolling text says that his page is not the homepage of ViVi.

Wow...I'm guessing that anywhere in Yamaguchi would be pretty 'countryside' by Japanese standards. Let us know when you make it inside...

The only thing is that I'm going to Akihabara this week and will probably hit a maid cafe there. I really wanted to go to this one first so that I won't be too disappointed since I assume that the Akiba ones are much..um..better.

Did you make it to one in Akiba? I've never actually been. I really want to check out the butler's cafe with all foreign guys working there in Shibuya though, like go with a group of ten guys for the hell of it...

I actually did. I went to this one: http://littlepsx.com/
I went on a weekday in the middle of the afternoon though. I didn't really go for the maid experience actually. I wanted to see the customers but there weren't any. Well, no, there was me, my friend and this other guy who totally ignored anyone else and concentrated on his game. The Don Kihote in Akiba is pretty crazy though.
