Hibaku Piano from Hiroshima Plays in New York to Mark 9/11

Thanks to youtube user newsupload2010

The piano is one of four pianos that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima (被爆ピアノ) being used by Peace Hiroshima to give charity concerts around Japan and occasionally overseas.

Known as the Misako Piano (ミサコのピアノ), the 85-key Yamaha  piano was built in 1932 and was 1.8 kilometers from the atomic bombing's ground zero but survived due to the unusually strong home it was in at the time.

The piano will be playing at several places around New York until September 13th.
